The newest Priesthood Holder in the Family

Coulson Michael Harris

Coulson turned twelve-years-old just 5 days ago. Today he received the Aaronic Priesthood, and was ordained to the office of a Deacon. Coulson's great grandfather, and namesake, was the first in our family, since the restoration of the Gospel, to received the Priesthood. This happen over 175 years ago. Now so many years later, from father to son, Coulson receives the power to act for God. TOTALLY AWESOME.

Coulson attended his first priesthood meeting in the Conference Center tonight, at the General Priesthood Session of General Conference. Perhaps the largest gathering of priesthood holders in history, and he was there with this father, grandfather, and three of his uncles. What an important day in the life of Coulson and our family.

Annie

We've got Annie! What an outstanding preformance. Mya was fabulous! She has a beautiful voice. She did not miss one note. She remembered EVERY line, and she had lots of lines to remember. As I sat and watched I got teary eyed, "just thinking about tomorrow".

On the way back to Mya's house, this amazing view of the San Diego Temple appears right before your eyes on the freeway. It is breathtaking. I am so thankful for the Great Plan of Happiness. I am so thankful that our family is seal together forever.

Heaven would not be heaven if we weren't all together.

Japan

A 9.0 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Japan. It is one of the five most powerful earthquakes in the world since record-keeping began in 1900. Minutes after the quake, tsunami waves of up to 33 feet heaved ashore, and traveled up to 6 miles inland. Thousands of people are dead, thousands of people are injured, and thousands of people are still missing. Millions are without electricity and water. Reactors at a nuclear plant suffered explosions and contamination has resulted. And, it is snowing in Japan.

In Matthew we read: "For a nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." (Matthew 24:7)

The Doctrine and Covenants tells of: "...the waves of the sea heaving themselves beyond their bounds." (D & C 88:90)

Yep, we're living in the last days!
