Loren, you were born!

Here's Loren with his son Noah - Blessing Day 2007

Today I was asked by Loren if I could send him his Birth Certificate.
After searching a few places I found it.
I guess I am not quite as unorganized as I think.
As I looked for the certificate,
I remembered the day Loren entered the world!
My life changed that day FOREVER!
Now beautiful baby Noah has joined the 'fam.
He looks a lot like Loren looked when he was a baby.
However, there is one HUGH difference.
Loren had a full head of VERY DARK BROWN hair.
Our little Noah is our first RED head. Oh my goodness.
What a beautiful head of hair.
"Thanks for being born (boys)." Rocky Balboa

Weekend Drama

My favorite four-year-old boy in the entire universe, Bradley Bear, traveled with me this weekend to sunny Southern California. Friday night, we stayed with Uncle Tad and Aunt Tracy, Torie, Tara and Tanner. On Saturday morning, we all headed to San Diego to see my favorite five-year-old girl in the entire universe, Mya Monster, in her theatrical debut. She performed with the Broadway Bound Youth Theatre. The production was Alice in Wonderland. Mya played the important role of the DoorKnob.
Her performance was flawless. She had totally committed her lines to memory, and they were very clearly articulated. Her dramatization was superb. Her singing and dancing were comparable to Broadway. I am so grateful we were able to enjoy her show. After the matinee we decided to take advantage of the perfect weather, so we headed to the beach for some lunch, some sand and some surf. When it was time for the evening performance, it was Kari’s assignment to be one of the backstage moms. Torie and Tara were able to go backstage with her, and enjoy the excitement of being behind the scenes. Tyson, Tad and Tracy headed off to the Motocross, and I headed back to Tyson and Kari’s place…with rub-a-dub-dub, three men in a tub…(Tanner, Owen and Bradley.)

The Viewing for President Hinckley

Here's Sarah and Bradley Bear and our little June Bug.
We waited in line for approximately 4 1/2 hours,
to see President Hinckley.
IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE!
Sarah has written the details of the weekend on her blog.
I have recorded my feelings in my journal.
What an amazing man of God.
