Sweet little Jack on ECMO

Today Jack would have turned three-years-old. There were so many heroic medical efforts, to try to help little Jack get well. It just wasn't meant to be. Jack returned Home. He has gone on ahead of us. He didn't get to stay here with us. We WILL see him again, and he will be well.

Not long ago, I was attending Fast and Testimony Meeting at Sarah's ward. A handsome sixteen-year-old got up to bear his testimony, and Sarah leaned over and whispered to me: "He was on ECMO". Oh my. ECMO saved his life. The was not the plan for our little Jack.

11/14/11 ~Tanner turned SIX today

Tanner is growing! I said: "Tanner, look into my eyes." He did. I told him that one day he was going to be taller than his dad! He laughed so hard. We'll have to wait a while to see if I'm right! Tanner is such a happy little guy. He is tons of fun to be around.
