BEST GENERAL CONFERENCE EVER

General Conference was so wonderful, I just don't know where to start... Sam wasn't able to go to General Conference this time. Modern technology, allows us to watch from the comfort of our own homes. Sam watched from home. When it was announced that Elder Sitati would be speaking, I smiled. I know Sam smiled too.

Joseph W. Sitati joined the Church in 1986. Twenty three years later, he became the first black African General Authority.

Here's Elder Marshall with Elder Sitati and his wife.

Elder Sitati's talk was SO good.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland gave the most powerful talk about the truthfulness of the
Tyson wondered: "Do you think that when Satan goes to sleep at night, he looks under his bed and in the closet and behind the curtains for Jeffery R. Holland?"

Elder D. Todd Chistofferson talk on Moral Discipline, might become a "sleeper", but this attorney turned apostle really threw out some zingers. I LOVED his talk.

Elder Richard G. Scott has been asking us for several years now, to write down and record impressions we receive. I was in attendance in the Conference Center when Elder Scott gave his talk Sunday Morning. He was the first speaker, after President Monson gave opening remarks. As Elder Scott stood up to the pulpit to speak, I noticed that the Brethren sitting on the stand (the First Quorum of Seventy) took out notepads and pens to start taking person notes. It was very impressive.
General Conference just gets better and better

I took lots of notes. I am reading and re-reading the talks, and listen to and watching them again. They are PACKED with counsel for our times. I am thankful for modern day apostles and prophets.

Great Conference. Thanks for the nudge to get to Salt Lake. It's always a little better in person!
