We are praying for Nesheiwat
Just one week ago, Sarah and I were naming all the young men here in Las Vegas, that we know, who are now Police Officers. We talked about the dangers of the profession. I even suggested, that in all probability, one day something awful would happen to one of these young men, while in the line of duty. Sadly, it has happened! Sam's good friend, David Nesheiwat, was involved in this VERY TERRIBLE accident. Dave's partner died from his injuries. Dave was critically injured, and remains in the hospital. The medical professionals are reporting that Dave is "expected to make a complete recovery". What does that mean, really? David's partner was buried yesterday, and Dave does not yet know that his partner died. How does a man, 25 years young, recover completely from such a life altering event? I will continue to remember Dave in my prayers. He is a very nice person!
Sam has been updating me daily on David progress. Today his jaw was wired shut. Yesterday a metal plate was placed in his skull.
