FIVE
I remember the day, my baby girl had her first baby girl, as if it were yesterday. My how time flies. Little Megan is five-years-old today. She is a tiny little thing, but her brain must be bigger than most, because she is amazingly smart. Her least favorite thing to do is eat, and her most favorite thing to do it read. It will be very interest to see what the future holds for this sweet little girl. She calls me Granny Marshall. I LOVE HER!

Houston . . . we have a problem...
Thirteen years ago, this beauty weighed in at just over 5 pounds! Look at her today. The first in our family to become a teenager, and what a beautiful young woman. Look how her little brother, standing on the sidelines, is cheering her on. Oh that we all could cheer each other along the way.

Father's Day
Dad taught me lots of stuff. Today, on Father's Day, I am remembering that he taught me to paint. He was not an artist. He was a painter. Every year he let me paint my bedroom the color of my choice. To this day, I love the smell of fresh paint. Paint today doesn't smell nearly as wonderful as paint in the olden times. Painting a room is one of the easiest ways to have a new look and feel to the room, kinda like getting a new hair style can give you a new look and feel. My dad was the neatest painter I have ever known. He didn't drip paint any where! And his hair, well it was always in place. He was just a neat guy all the way around. I look forward to seeing my dad again, because families are forever, and he has probably been doing some really neat things these past (almost) thirty years!

See what I mean? Oh heaven help us!
